Ilze was my companion through the round-the-world years — the "we" in most of these stories. In her own words, from back then:
Hi! My name is Ilze and I come from a small and beautiful country on the coast of the Baltic sea – Latvia. My country has beautiful and untouched nature, charming small towns, and a bustling capital city Riga.
For as long as I can remember myself I have always dreamt of traveling the world – discovering different cultures, meeting people, visiting interesting places, tasting exotic foods, discovering and enjoying the beauty of nature around the world.
Therefore when I met Pablo and when he offered me to embark on a journey around the world with him I didn’t even give it a second thought. If there’s an adventure – count me in! As a result, I left my regular life with an 8 AM to 5 PM job in Latvia and I have never looked back….
